2. What data we collect and why
2a. Discovery call bookings (Calendly)
When you book a discovery call through this website, you are directed to Calendly, a third-party scheduling platform. Calendly collects your name, email address, and any notes you provide. This data is used solely to arrange and conduct the scheduled call.
Calendly is the data processor for this information. Their privacy policy is available at calendly.com/privacy. Data collected by Calendly may be stored on servers in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry; performance of a pre-contractual step at your request.
2b. Email enquiries
If you contact us directly by email, we retain your name, email address, and message content for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and managing any resulting business relationship. Emails are stored within our email provider and are not shared with third parties.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest; performance of a contract.
2c. Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe to the PrsnQA newsletter, we collect your email address for the purpose of sending you occasional articles and updates about QA consulting and AI implementation. Subscription requires explicit consent via a tick-box at the point of sign-up.
Your email address is stored via Google Apps Script and Google Sheets, acting as our data processor for this purpose. Data is held within Google's infrastructure and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting [email protected].
Legal basis: Consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
2d. Website enquiry forms
The contact page includes a short pre-qualification form that collects your name, email address, and details about your team and situation. This data is submitted to a Google Apps Script and used solely to prepare for your discovery call. It is not used for marketing and is not shared with third parties.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest; performance of a pre-contractual step at your request.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not set any first-party cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Calendly may set its own cookies when you interact with the booking widget. No personal data is processed by PrsnQA beyond what is described in section 2.
4. How long we keep your data
Email enquiries are retained for up to two years from the date of last contact, or for the duration of any business relationship, whichever is longer. Calendly booking data is subject to Calendly's own retention policy. Newsletter subscribers' email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Pre-qualification form responses are retained for up to 12 months.
5. Sharing your data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with:
- Calendly (scheduling), as described in section 2a
- Google Apps Script / Google Sheets (newsletter list and contact form responses), as described in sections 2c and 2d
- Professional advisers (legal, financial) where legally required
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies where we are legally obliged to disclose
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:

- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data where there is no lawful reason to retain it
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances
